ABOUT ME
I graduated in 2019 from a 3-year in-person Practitioner of Homeopathic Medicine program from the Ottawa College of Homeopathy, which included 750 hours of clinical training with real cases. I obtained my full license to practice homeopathy in Ontario and am a proud member of the College of Homeopaths of Ontario. I trained in Classical Homeopathy and also learned how to incorporate modern approaches. In 2020, at the onset of the pandemic, my husband and I welcomed our first child. I have a passion for healing, natural medicine and guiding others to empower themselves. I currently see clients in-person in Orleans, Ottawa and offer virtual appointments. My schedule is somewhat flexible, so please reach out if dates and times don't align with you.

My background
I grew up as a competitive figure skater in a small town and went to the University of Ottawa to study biochemistry. I graduated with a Master's in 2012 then worked in hospital research labs.

How did I get interested in homeopathy?
In 2014, after working in my field for a few years, I questioned what I really wanted to do long-term. I wasn't interested in pursuing academia or conventional medicine. This led me to investigate different career paths. At the time, I was being seeing a naturopath and developed an interest in natural medicine. Homeopathy eventually came across my radar - I had never heard of it, but knew it had to do with natural medicine and that I could study it in a more flexible way, so I started reading. The more I read, the more it made sense to me, the basic principles clicked. The scientific rigor under which it was developed clicked. It ignited an awe and curiosity that I had not experienced with anything else before. Could this really work? The world of holistic healing was a new paradigm for me. Still, I couldn't help but delve deeper and found that my analytical side was really satisfied with the scientific foundation and principles of homeopathy. Looking back, I know my intuition was nudging me in this direction.

My own healing journey
In my early 20's, I developed multiple vague chronic symptoms that affected many aspects of my life. A friend recommended a naturopath and that's where my journey began. A couple years later, when I considered studying homeopathy, I decided to see one myself to get a first-hand experience. It was like nothing I'd experienced - I felt heard, validated, and hopeful. It wasn't a quick fix for me. Over a few years, I gradually improved. My personal experience taught me a lot. It is a homeopath's mission to help others find freedom from their suffering as gently, quickly and permanently as possible. I also understand the value of having a compassionate and dedicated practitioner on your side through the ups and downs of the healing journey.
WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?
(Working on content...)

Homeopathy is a complete system of natural, evidence-based medicine that uses the principle of 'like-cures-like' to stimulate the body's innate healing response. It is a holistic approach that offers individualized treatment with potentized remedies. It can often be used alone and is also very well integrated with other natural and conventional approaches. Mani Norland, from the School of Homeopathy (UK) explains this beautifully in this 7-minute video.
